JUDGE’S STATEMENT

It was a pleasure to judge the "Faces & Figures Online Exhibition 2021" for the Tampa Regional Artists. This energetic group has been supporting local artists in the Tampa Bay Region since 1956 and continues to be a driving force for arts education in Tampa Bay. They maintain a flurry of exhibitions throughout the year placing an emphasis on artistic growth for local members. Heavily impacted by the pandemic the Tampa Regional Artists are truly a legacy worth supporting so they may continue their great work here in the greater Tampa Bay Region.

The Faces and Figures Exhibition 2021 had a total of ninety three entries. Many of these works were expertly handled and impressive. The variety of artists at both professional and emerging levels was simply staggering. It was a little complex to select only a few from this excellent show.
