About the Call
The BAY AREA ART SHOW 20 is a juried and judged fine art show sponsored by the Tampa Regional Artists held at the Old Hyde Park Art Center. This is an open competition and all artists are invited to submit their work for consideration. Bay Area exhibit dates are January 12 to February 5, 2027 and the reception will be held on Friday, January 22, 2027 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Old Hyde Park Art Center.
As this is a juried exhibition, all entries must be submitted by October 23, 2026.

AWARDS
Over $2,000 in prizes! CASH AWARDS** WILL BE OFFERED FOR:
● BEST OF SHOW-$500
● MEDIA AWARDS – at $200 each for media such as Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture and Watercolor, to be determined by the number of entries.
● 2 AWARDS OF MERIT $100 each
ADDITIONAL PRIZES OF ART SUPPLIES & MERCHANDISE WILL ALSO BE AWARDED.
**Category prizes may be combined and award amounts reallocated dependent on entries.

● TRA Members: $20 for one entry, $30 for two, $40 for 3
● Non-members: $25 for one entry, $40 for two, $55 for 3

LABELING FILES (Important)
● Image file names --must include Artist’s Last name, First name and Entry Number in that order without spaces or punctuations.
● Title may be added but may not exceed 25 characters.
● Do not use #, $, %, & or other similar characters.
● Only one period may be used, as in .jpg (e.g. JonesMary1prplsunset.jpg)
● Artwork must have label on each piece on the back with the following information, name, title, price, phone number.
● Entries must be postmarked no later than: October 23, 2026
● Acceptance notifications sent by: December 15, 2026
● Delivery of artwork: Thursday, Friday & Saturday January 7 through 9 (Noon to 3PM on Thursday, Friday and noon to 1 Saturday)
● Shipped artwork must arrive no later than: Thursday, January 7, 2027
● Reception: Friday January 22, 2027
● Pickup after show: Friday & Saturday, February 5 &6, 2027
Be sure to complete the checkout process and pay online. Your entry is not complete until you pay. Labeled images must be uploaded as part of the process.
Note that a submission is not considered entered until you have paid online and emailed your images. Submissions must be made NO LATER THAN October 23, 2026.
*NOTE: All JPEG’s and photos will be retained by TRA and accepted paintings may be used in TRA newsletter, website and for exhibit publicity.
