This course is perfect for artists looking to elevate their representational drawing skills and gain confidence in using colored pencils as a fine art medium.

Cost is $75.00 for Members and $100.00 for Non-Members. Space is Limited to 14 students.

About Instructor

Michele Young has been drawing since childhood, an interest inspired by her artistic family members. Her college art professor discouraged her realistic style, so instead of pursuing art, she had a fulfilling 30-year career teaching Special Education. Michele rediscovered her love for drawing in 2016, and since then, her work has been featured in art exhibitions and a variety of venues throughout Brandon and Tampa. Michele specializes in representational art, using colored pencils and pastels to capture details and textures. She finds joy in combining her love of art with her love of teaching.  Currently, Michele teaches art classes throughout the community.  Her hope is that her art inspires curiosity and a deeper appreciation for colored pencils as a fine art medium.
